Lane-Cove-Nationalpark

The Lane Cove National Park is a national park in the district of North Ryde, 14 km north from the center of Sydney. Founded in the park in 1938. The original 125 acres along the Lane Cove River in 1992 expanded to more than 300 ha.

The main attractions of the park are the numerous hiking trails along the Lane Cove River with picnic and barbecue facilities and the only camp in Sydney. In addition to numerous wallabies there are possums, numerous bird and reptile species, as well as native fish species in the Lane Cove River, such as the New Zealand eels.
