Brindabella-Nationalpark

The Brindabella National Park is a national park in the southeast of the Australian state of New South Wales, 34 kilometers west of Canberra in the Australian Alps.

The park is located along the Brindabella Range, a mountain range which runs along the eastern shore of Goodradigbee River. Southeast closes at the Namadgi National Park in the Australian Capital Territory, south-west of the Kosciuszko National Park.

In the eucalyptus forests of all altitude levels are found endangered animals such as the Regent Honeyeater, the Powerful Owl ( owl ), the Yellow-bellied gliders, the Northern Corroboree Frog ( Pseudophryne pegilley ) and the Booroolong Frog ( Litoria booroolongensis ).

There are four campgrounds in the park: Flea Creek is simply equipped, the other three - McIntyre's Hut, Lowell Flat and Coree Camp have no facilities. McIntyre's hat and Range in hat are places of historical interest. The most popular recreational activities include hiking, orienteering, fishing and tours with all-wheel drive vehicles.
