Brisbane-Water-Nationalpark

The Brisbane Water National Park is a national park in the eastern part of the Australian state of New South Wales, 47 kilometers northeast of Sydney. It lies north of the mouth of the Hawkesbury River and was named after the lagoon between Brisbane Water Gosford Woy Woy and adjacent to the park to the east. The western and northern border is the Pacific Highway.

The park consists of steep sandstone cliffs which are covered with forest.

In the park there are many trails that can be classified from mild to severe. One way that can be easily reached by public transport, is to Pindar Cave on the rocky step up from the train station Wondabyne, a required stop on the Central Coast Railway Line ( Sydney - Newcastle). In this park you will also find many other trails such as the Great North Walk.
