Georgian Premier League

The Umaghlessi League (Georgian უმაღლესი ლიგა to German Supreme League ) is the highest football league in Georgia. Since 1990, the league is organized by the Georgian Football Federation. From 1927 to 1989, the Umaghlessi League was a regional competition within the Soviet Union. The league consists of twelve teams.

Mode

The twelve participating teams will play two games against each other. Thus, each team completed in the course of a season first 22 games. The winning team receives three points for a draw, each team receives a point.
