Gianni Munari (born 24 June 1983 Sassuolo, Italy ) is an Italian footballer who is currently active for FC Parma.

Career

Munari learned to play football in the youth of the U.S. Sassuolo Calcio, where he was adopted into the professional sector in 2001. By 2003, he completed 49 games for Sassuolo and scored two goals. Then Munari never stayed more than a year, he played from 2003 to 2007 with four clubs, including for Hellas Verona and Palermo, where he however was not used and therefore in 2007 moved to the U.S. Lecce. He remained there for four years and rose twice in Serie A. Overall Munari ran 143 times in league games for Lecce and scored 17 goals. In the 2011/12 season he played for Fiorentina and in the following for Sampdoria. Since 2013 he is under contract at FC Parma.
