Sassuolo
Sassuolo is an Italian industrial town with 39 888 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) south of Modena and northwest of Bologna in Emilia -Romagna.
Sassuolo has long been the center of the Italian tile industry. As a result of the relocation of production to Spain and China, the importance of this industry fell sharply and led to an increase in unemployment.
Among the main attractions in the city of Palazzo Ducale Sassuolo one of the Dukes of Este from the 17th century. The architect was Bartolomeo Avanzini. The interior was painted with frescoes of the French Baroque painter Jean Boulanger and Angelo M. Colonna and Agostino Mitelli.
U.S. Sassuolo Calcio is represented in the Football Serie A since the beginning of season 2013/2014.
