Cristian Molinaro
Cristian Molinaro ( born July 30, 1983 in Moio della Civitella (SA), Italy) is an Italian football player.
He is a left-back, but can also be used in midfield and plays since January 2014 for FC Parma. Molinaros strengths are his speed and his strength in the tackle and his contributions to the offensive play by flanks and passes.
Career
Association
He began with five years for ASD Gelbison Vallo della Lucania with football play on. He already took thirteen years from home and moved to Salerno, where he lived with a host family. He wanted to school and football better able to connect with each other. In the season 2002/ 03 he was pulled Salernitana Calcio to the pros and made his first games in the series B. In the following two seasons, he was a regular for Salernitana.
In 2005, Molinaro was committed by Juventus, who chose him as some other players, for the time being at AC Siena to "park", and sold half of his transfer rights to the Tuscan club. The season 2005/ 06 was marked for Cristian Molinaro of ups and downs. He was mostly just a substitute because the club was already well staffed with veteran Gianluca Falsini at his position.
For the season 2006/ 07 the transfer business between Juve, who had relegated in Serie B due to the manipulation scandal in 2005/ 06, and Siena was extended by one year. The AC Siena sold his part Falsini to Catania Calcio and sat on Molinaro as a regular force on the left defensive side. Encouraged by the confidence placed in him Cristian Molinaro became the absolute power carrier and completed 36 of 38 Serie A games.
Juventus finally decided to retrieve Molinaro, and signed him on 20 June 2007 for 2.5 million euros. During the season 2007/ 08 the Southern Italians became a regular player on the left position in the back four of Juve. This was mainly due to the fact that the left-back Giorgio Chiellini -budgetary, was used because of numerous violations of the two central defenders in the center. Through the commitment of the international's Fabio Grosso to season 2009/10 Molinaro lost his place on the left side again and found mainly on the bench again.
On January 5, 2010, he moved on loan to VfB Stuttgart. He replaced the winter break to FC Zurich exchanged Ludovic Magnin and nominated for the African Football Cup 2010 Arthur Boka. VfB Molinaro could bind with a purchase option in the long term to the association. After the VfB moved this option Molinaro signed a contract until June 2014 at the Stuttgart. In the context of a football scandal in 2013 to transfer contracts, contracts of Cristian Molinaro were examined for anomalies later.
In the Hinserie the 2013/14 season brought it Molinaro on only two inserts for the Swabians, which led him to the end of January 2014 to go back to Italy and signed a contract with FC Parma there.
National
On August 6, 2010 Molinaro was appointed to the levy of the Italian national team for the friendly against the Ivory Coast on 10 August 2010. There he was in the starting lineup his international debut. On September 3, 2010 Molinaro played with his competitive debut for the Azzurri on the opening day of qualifying for the Euro 2012 against Estonia also over the full distance.
