Geographical Location
Glassworks is located in the region of Upper Franconia -east.

History
Glassworks belonged to the rule of the Hohenzollern between Viscount of Nuremberg, later Margrave of Brandenburg- Bayreuth. The viscount and their successors mortgaged various noble families with glassworks, including the lords of Wirsberg 1426-1575 and the Lords of Lüschwitz 1575-1728. Economy, agriculture and forestry
