History
The district Kirmsees was founded in 1181 first mentioned as belonging to the monastery Speinshart documented. The Landgrave of Leuchtenberg were to feudal lords in 1646 Lienlas. Kirchenpingarten belonged to Rentamt Amberg and the district court Waldeck of the Electorate of Bavaria. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria emerged with the community of 1818 the municipalities Kirchenpingarten, Lienlas, Reislas and Tressau. These were incorporated in the municipal reform in Bavaria in two steps in the community Kirchenpingarten: Reislas and Tressau on 1 April 1971, Lienlas on 1 January 1972.
