Grand Slam of Darts
The Grand Slam of Darts has been held since 2007 by the Professional Darts Corporation ( PDC). The venue is the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton.
It is the only major tournament, go with the player of the two competing Dartverbände PDC and BDO together at the start.
After world champion Phil Taylor was able to prevail in the first three years, succeeded in 2010 with Scott Waites first time a BDO player to win the tournament.
The English team captain and three-time BDO World Champion Martin Adams always said from his participation in the Grand Slam of Darts, whereupon the PDC decided not to invite him.
