2007 Grand Slam of Darts
The PartyBets.com Grand Slam of Darts 2007 was held from 17 to 25 November 2007 at the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton and organized by the PDC. It was the first edition of the Grand Slam of Darts.
As well as 24 players from the PDC also eight players of the competing Dartverbands BDO had been invited.
It was played in eight groups of four, in each of which the two first place winners for the final round of the top 16 players qualified.
Prizes
The total amount of undistributed prize money was £ 300,000.
Qualification
Unlike other tournaments, the qualification criteria directed not by ranking placements, but after wins, final and semi-final appearances at the major tournaments of the PDC and the BDO World Championship in the years before.
