Großmaischeid ( dialect: Grußmäschd, Mäschd or Maischeid ) is a medium-sized municipality in the district of Neuwied in northern Rhineland -Palatinate. History

A first settlement Großmaischeids was already in the middle Bronze Age place (1550-1200 BC).
