Harschbach is a municipality in the district of Neuwied in the north of Rhineland- Palatinate. The community belongs to the municipality powder stream, which has its headquarters in the town of powder stream.

Geographical location
The place is a little off the main roads south of powder stream on the edge of the Rhine -Westerwald.
Climate
The annual rainfall is 964 mm. Rainfall is high. They are located in the upper quarter of the detected values in Germany. At 82% of the stations of the German Weather Service lower values are registered. The driest month is February, the most rainfall comes in November. In November, falling 1.4 times more precipitation than in February. Precipitation varies little and are evenly distributed throughout the year. At only 16% of the monitoring stations, lower seasonal swings are recorded.

Coat of arms
The coat of arms description reads: "With a silver slant bar links shared by red and green; above a three-line silver ear, below a silver hook Forest (Wolf Angel) ".
The ear symbolizes agriculture, formerly a major source of income of the community, the Wolf Angel in Green indicates the proportion Harsch Bach on Märker forest in the parish Urbach. The colors red and silver from the isenburgischen coat of arms refer to the membership to the upper crust Bach County Wied, who was originally isenburgischer possession. The coat of arms is quite valid since June 11, 1981 after a design by Ernst Zeiler, Raubach.
