Geographical location

The village lies on the edge of the Westerwald directly on a hill at the Neuwied Basin in the Rhein-Westerwald Nature Park southwest of Rengsdorf near Wied.

History

In 1956, the " Didier- Werke AG " a bronze bucket ( situlae ) was found on the grounds of the former Tonbergwerks, which is (600 to 300 BC) associated with the Hallstatt period and is now located in the museum district of Neuwied. Regular events
