Hall bei Admont
Hall ( also Hall at Admont ) is a municipality with 1767 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in Styria in the judicial district or county Lienzen. On 1 January 2015 they will be joined together as part of the Styrian municipality structural reform with the communities Admont, John Bach and Weng im Gesäuse under the name Admont.
Location
Hall has an area of 50.72 km ² and is situated at the foot of the walls Haller, on the left Ennsufer exactly vis -à-vis Admont.
History
Hall is the oldest salt source of Styria (documented 931 above), a typical Hall Name of the salt. The salt mines were in operation until 1543.
