Hammersmith Odeon London '75

Occupation

Hammersmith Odeon, London '75 is a live album that documented the first appearance of Bruce Springsteen in London, which took place soon after the release of Born to Run. Although the appearance appeared illegally already on bootlegs, but this is the first official edition. The double CD was released in 2006 on Columbia Records.

General

The album documents the first appearance of the E Street Band in London in 1975, which was the first of the band overseas at the same time. The British music magazines started a hype about this gig and so the band members had a queasy feeling. It was filmed and recorded. Springsteen had after the concert feel " we had not played did well" ( We had not played so well ), but here he was mistaken, as he had to admit to himself.

After the recordings, the work fell into oblivion. After the Rising tour, Springsteen began but to discover the beginning of his career, from the date it was no publications. That was the reason why the concert was released on a double CD. In addition to the CD, there is also a DVD documenting this concert and part of the Born to Run: 30th Anniversary 3 - box.

In the charts, the album # 93 of The Billboard 200 reached
