Hans Buzek

Johann " Hans " Buzek ( May 22nd, 1938 in Vienna ) is a retired Austrian football player.

Life

Buzek's parents are from Borský Mikuláš, western Slovakia. (The name Buzek should therefore be pronounced with voiced S).

At age eleven, he joined the youth team of Vienna, with seventeen of the Combat Team.

Highlights of his career included the Austrian league title with Vienna in 1954/55 in three classes, students, youth and first team, and twice the title of the Austrian scorer ( 1955/56 and 1965 /66).

The talent of the skilled goldsmith ( Master Craftsman, 1961) showed in the position of the striker; he was a feared scorer and brought it to 42 missions in the Austrian national team. In 1955 he made ​​his debut in the 2-1 win against Yugoslavia. With the Football World Cup 1958, he went to three bets.

Hans Buzek was from the match against Yugoslavia on 30 October 1955, the youngest team player in history. With his team debut he was 17 years and 161 days old. This record was undercut on 14 October 2009 by David Alaba, the " old " was on his debut in the senior national team 17 years and 112 days.

Both in his childhood as well as during the commitments in the national football team won Buzek a close relationship with the city of Baden near Vienna, which induced him in 1963 in Baden ( Peterhofgasse 2) to open a goldsmith's shop and to bring this up to his retirement in 1992.

With his wife ( married 1959), Gertraude, Hans Buzek has two sons.

Buzek played with most of the great Viennese clubs; age of 15 he made his championship debut: Vienna ( 1950-1963 ), Austria ( 1963-1967 ), Wiener Sport Club ( 1967-1969 ), FC Dornbirn (1969 /70), Rapid Vienna ( 1970-1972 ) and Austria Klagenfurt (1972 / 73). After his playing career Hans Buzek was the first coach at Baden AC, then he practiced in Vienna, the function of Director of Sport.
