Haplogroup M-P256

Haplogroup M is a human genetics Haplogroup of the Y chromosome. This haplogroup is found in different densities in populations of eastern Indonesia, of Melanesia (including Papua New Guinea), Micronesia, and Polynesia. The men of Papua New Guinea and Melanesia have haplogroup M chromosomes. It is the subsequent haplogroup K. It is believed that it was 10,000 years ago.
