Haplogroup T-M184

Haplogroup T is a human genetics Haplogroup of the Y chromosome. From 2002 to 2008 it was known as Haplogroup K2. It is not to be confused with the mitochondrial DNA haplogroup T of the same name. It is generally understood that the genetic marker UEP corresponds to the Single Nucleotide Polymorphism M70. Other SNPs, M184, M193, M272, currently considered phylogenetically equivalent.

Origin

From K2 -M70 is believed that they originally arose in Asia after the emergence of the K- M9 polymorphism ( 45-30 ky ). As is evident from the common data, migrated K2 -M70 carrier, at a later date south to Africa. While these chromosomes in relatively high density in Egypt, occur in Oman, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Morocco, whose presence is particularly noticeable among the Fulani ( 18%), where the previous highest concentration of this haplogroup was found.

Dissemination

Haplogroup T -M70 is a haplogroup that is found only in low frequency. It was in Sciacca ( 18%), Fulani ( 18%), Ibiza ( 17%), Stelvio (13.5%), Xibe (12.5 %), in 10.4% (21/ 201) of the Somali, Upper Egypt ( 10.3%), Lasithi (8.7% ) in 8.3% (10/ 121) of the Omani, in 8.2 % (12/ 147) of the Egyptians, Liébana (8.1%) in 7.2% (10/ 139) of Iraqis in 7.4 % of the Serbs discovered ( Marjanovic et al. ) and 7.1% of the Serbs discovered ( Pericic et al. ).

Other regions in which the haplogroup was found in significant amounts are South India, United Arab Emirates (8/ 164 or 4.9%), Ethiopia (6/ 126 or 4.8%), Lebanon ( 43/914 or 4.7 %), the people of the Iraqw in Tanzania ( 2/43 or 4.7%), West Bengal ( 14/367 or 3.8 %), southern Iran ( 4/117 or 3.4% ), Turkey ( 13/523 or 2.5%), and the Iberian Peninsula ( 16/629 or 2.5 %) (18/ 305 or 5.9%) According to these data, which were obtained by commercial DNA testing, including 3.9 % of Italians to this haplogroup. Probably 3% of the Sephardim and 2% of the Ashkenazim belong to haplogroup T.

The distribution of haplogroup T in most parts of Europe is limited very low or regionally, for example, this haplogroup was 1.7% ( 10/591 ) of a pool of six samples of men from the southwest of Russia, including Russians Roslawl, Livny, Pristen, Repievka, Belgorod and Cuba Cossacks of Adygea found, but they lacked a pool of eight samples from a total of 637 people from the northern half of European Russia.

Among the population of India, noticed that haplogroup T most frequently occurred among the Bauri, a Dalit caste of fishermen in the East Indies, and the Kurru (also known as Yerukula ), a strain of the Dravidians in southern India.
