Haplogroup O-M175

Haplogroup O is in human genetics a Haplogroup of the Y chromosome. This haplogroup have 80 to 90 % of all men in East Asia and Southeast Asia together. In this region it is found almost exclusively alone. The mutation M175 is almost nonexistent in Western Siberia and in western Asia. It is also missing in Europe, Africa and America. However, haplogroup O in significant density in populations of South Asia from Central Asia and in Oceania occurs.
