Haplogroup P-M45

Haplogroup P is a haplogroup in human genetics of the Y chromosome. This haplogroup contains the paternal ancestors of most Europeans and nearly all the indigenous peoples of the Americas. It also contains approximately one-third to two-thirds of men of different population groups in Central Asia and South Asia.
