Hohenkammer

High chamber is a community in the Upper Bavarian district of Freising. High chamber is located on the Glonn at the intersection of two highways Munich -Ingolstadt and Freising, Augsburg.

Community structure

The parish includes the hamlets Deutldorf High Chamber, Dörnbach, Eglhausen, Eichethof, Haberhof, Herschenhofen, small chamber Mountain, Niernsdorf, Pelka, Upper Wohlbach, Riedhof, Schlipps, sub Marbach, sub Wohlbach, Niernsdorf, choice and Waltenhofen.

History

Founder of Castle Hohen chamber were the masters of Camer in the 11th century. However, the present castle dates from the 15th century. High chamber has long been a closed Hofmark of the Counts of Haslang. High chamber was in the course of administrative reform in Bavaria in 1818 an independent political community. On 1 January 1972 parts of the territory of the municipality Schlipps were reclassified according to the High Chamber. On April 1, 1972 parts of the territory were added to the dissolved municipality Lauterbach.

Economy and infrastructure

The castle is now owned by a succession of owners of Munich Re, which operates a training center by the newly formed Akademie Schloss Hohen chamber.

Due to the high chamber B 13 between Munich and Ingolstadt leads. The A 9 and the Peterhausen station are five kilometers away. In Peterhausen is connected to the S-Bahn Munich and at the regional trains to Munich, Ingolstadt and Nuremberg ( München- Nürnberg- Express).
