Wood home on Forest ( officially: Wood Home a.Forst ) is a municipality between Naab and Regen in the Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg and a member of the administrative community Kallmunz.

History
Wood home was probably built in the 6th or 7th century in the course of the Bavarian land acquisition. First time home wood is mentioned of the Holy to the bishopric of Bamberg from 1 November 1007 a deed of gift of the king and the emperor Henry II. For the 12th to the 14th century, based on the place of the noble wood Heimer is occupied. In the 15th century the Hofmark wood home came to the convent means Münster St. Paul in Regensburg and remained intermittently until the dissolution of the Convention in 1588 in its possession. Country gentleman was from 1505 to 1806, the Wittelsbach line of Pfalz- Neuburg. On January 1, 1978 parts of the territory of the dissolved municipality Bubach were incorporated in the forest.

Blazon: Argent, diagonally crossed a slumped red sword and a red bishop's staff, covered by a blue casting vessel. The coat of arms is conducted since 1978.
