Hyper Coaster

A Hyper Coaster is a roller coaster, in which the height of over 61 meters (200 feet), but at 91 meters (300 feet). The highest point is the lift hill, followed by first drop. It is also typical that there are no inversions in a Hyper Coaster.

History

Description

Hypercoaster were originally built for the speed and airtime to counter the trend of increasing looping roller coasters. The only Hypercoaster was made of wood Son of Beast at Kings Iceland. Son of Beast was the tallest and fastest wooden roller coaster in the world. 2009 took place on the last ride of the wooden roller coaster. In 2012 she was completely dismantled.
