James Bausch

James "Jim" Aloysius Bernard Bausch ( born March 29, 1906 in Marion, South Dakota; † 9 July 1974 in Hot Springs, Arkansas) was an American track and field athlete and American football player.

College

Bausch studied from 1927 to 1930 at the University of Wichita and later at the University of Kansas. In addition to athletics, he ran American football and basketball. In the Kansas Jayhawks, the American football team of the University of Kansas, he ran predominantly as a halfback. His skills were clearly runs already here. In 1930 he was elected to East - West College All-Star Game, which was held in San Francisco.

Olympic champion
