Jay Humphry

James Clarke " Jay" Humphrey ( born July 28, 1948 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a former Canadian figure skater, who started in a single run.

Humphry in 1968 and 1969 Canadian champion. From 1965 to 1969 he took part in five consecutive World Championships. His best result here was the sixth place in 1969. At the Olympic Games in Grenoble in 1968, he finished seventh.

Humphry was trained throughout his career by Edi Rada and Ellen Burka. After the 1969 season, he turned pro and went to Ice Follies, where he played Oscar from Sesame Street. Humphry now lives in Minneapolis and works for a company that produces entertainment shows with Sesame Street topics.
