Jolanda di Savoia

Jolanda di Savoia is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3016 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Ferrara, in Emilia -Romagna. The village is located approximately 28.5 km east-northeast of Ferrara.

History

The community was named in 1911 after the Princess of Italy, Margherita of Savoy Jolanda, the first daughter of Victor Emmanuel III. . By 1903 the town of Le Venezie said.
