Jorge MartÃnez (motorcyclist)
Jorge " Aspar " Martínez Salvadores ( born August 29, 1962 in Alzira, Valencia region, Spain ) is a former Spanish motorcycle racer and current team owner.
Martínez played between 1982 and 1997 a total of 196 races in the MotoGP World Championship and won the 1986, 1987 and 1988 the title in the 80 cc class, and in 1988 also at 125cc. In 1996 he won the motorcycle championship in the 125cc class.
Following his playing career Martínez founded the successful Aspar team, which is represented today in the Motorcycle World Championship.
