Kadenbach
Kaden Bach is a municipality in the Westerwald district in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Montabaur. Until 17 December 1938, the official spelling of the community name " Cadenbach " was.

Geography
The community lies in the Westerwald between Augst Montabaur and Koblenz and the Nassau nature park.
History
Kaden Bach was first documented in the August 1, 1110 " Catenbach ", as the Archbishop of Trier, Bruno Florin gave the pin to Koblenz a house construction of a hospital and endowed with goods in Kadenbach. In 1216 Archbishop Theodoric II transferred the Hospital and the goods belonging to the Teutonic Knights in Koblenz. The German Order had until 1809 the basic rule in Kadenbach. By the end of the 18th century Alflen country belonged to the Electorate of Trier gorgeous and the Office Ehrenbreitstein was assigned. By Reichsdeputationshauptschluss Kadenbach came with the Office Ehrenbreitstein 1803 Principality of Nassau -Weilburg and from 1806 to the Duchy of Nassau in 1816 the Office Montabaur allocated. 1866 was followed by the transition to the Kingdom of Prussia. Under the Prussian administration, the village belonged from 1867 to Unterwesterwald county in Hesse -Nassau. Kaden Bach belongs since 1946 to the state of Rhineland -Palatinate and since 1974 to the newly formed Westerwald region.
The first school building of Kaden Bach was completed in 1836, in 1878 was followed by the completion of the new school building. The existing school building was then the teacher's apartment. In 1936, the spelling " Kaden Bach" the official place name. Many new buildings were designed in the 20th century, including from 1946 to 1948, the new plant of the sports field, in 1950 the application of the cemetery and the church in 1953. The expansion of settlement was driven from 1959 with the first building of the Freiherr- vom-Stein -Straße. The nearest motorway junction is Montabaur on the A 3 Cologne - about twelve kilometers from Frankfurt.

In the municipality there are three children's playgrounds and a ball court for youth.
There is a built for three groups of kindergarten, from the cath. Church of St. Joseph is operated.
The elementary school was closed in 1986. The old school building is like the former teacher dwelling house owned by the municipality. Both are currently rented to firms.
