Karsten Forsterling

Karsten Forster Ling ( born January 21, 1980 in Newcastle, New South Wales) is an Australian rower.

Forster Ling began in 1992 with the rowing. In 1998, he finished with the coxless four fourth place at the Junior World Championships. 1999 and 2000 sat Forster Ling respectively at the World Cup in Lucerne in the Australian eight, who finished in tenth place. In 2002 he rowed with the eighth in the World Cup in Munich in second place in the 2002 World Championships, the Australian eight finished seventh. A year later the aft reached the A-final and came as the fifth boat to the finish. 2004 saw Forster Ling in non-Olympic coxed four and finished sixth at the World Championships.

Together with Christian Ryan reached Forster Ling at the 2005 World Championships in ninth place in the coxless pairs. Back in 2006 won eight Forster Ling poses in his first World Cup race, at the World Championships in Eton aft came the fourth boat to the finish. 2007 in Munich, followed by the eighth place. After Forster Modeling 2008 failed to qualify for the Australian Olympic team, he was internationally in 2009 at the start.

In 2010 he returned as a skull rower. Karsten Forster Ling, David Crawshay, James McRae and Daniel Noonan won in quadruple sculls the bronze medal at the World Rowing Championships 2010 in New Zealand. 2011 came Christopher Morgan for Crawshay into the boat, Morgan, McRae, Forster Ling and Noonan won gold at the World Championships in Bled. 2012 occupied the Australian sculls third place at the Olympic Games in London behind the German and Croatian boat.
