Kenas Aroi

Keno Aroi (even Kenaz Aroi; † January 1991) was a politician and nauruischer President of the Republic of Nauru from 17 August to 12 December 1989.

Aroi was a member of the Nauruan Parliament and Minister of Finance of former President Kennan Adeang. Before his presidency Aroi was chairman of the NPC. With the support of Kennan Adeang which Hammer DeRoburt displaced in a vote of no confidence, Aroi was elected on August 17, 1989 President. Adeang was named by Aroi of Finance. However, three months later Aroi suffered a stroke and became effective on December 12 back in the parliamentary elections due to poor health. His ally Bernard Dowiyogo was his successor.

According to sources, the Australian Government kenos Aroi was not recognized, however, biological son of Hammer DeRoburt. His daughter Millicent Aroi 's Ambassador to Fiji and composer.
