Since he became a member of Gorgoroth and known in the Black Metal scene, he also has many opponents. Gorgoroth guitarist Tormentor left the band in 2002 because he could no longer work with King. Singer Pest expressed in 2010 in a studio report of Sheol Magazine that he sometimes thought about it since his departure in 1997, as it would be to be with Gorgoroth, but made it clear that he probably did not King would want to work. Fenriz of Darkthrone has repeatedly demonstrated his contempt for King expressed, described him as one of the " About Poser " which " constantly trying to destroy the REAL Metal", and stated that he would no longer view Darkthrone Black Metal, " if that King ov Hell what makes is something that anyone would call Black Metal. Let's just say that we got rid of the boat before all the dead flesh it sank. Time again. We're playing our Heavy - Metal -speed punk. "Besides, Fenriz gave him the right to have sick leave for months while receiving music and go on tour, and thus thus to use both Fenriz 'and Norway's money. DARKTHRONE Circle the Wagons 2010 released album got the numbering " ANTI -KING OV HELL 001". After Bill Zebub King of Black Metal: A Documentary had asked, he took a position on:

" [T ] here were some characters who bore façades, like King from Gorgoroth. I did regret now, ha ha - it would have been interesting to see how tough that guy after getting bitch- slapped what. After the interview done what King made all kinds of silly demands, but theywere out of fear did footage of him smiling would be used. King Claimed to be part of the black metal scene and to be friends with some of the old schoolers, but when i Talked to the old schoolers They did not have nice things to say about King, and he most quite Often referred by as a " newcomer. " Just smells like " poser " to me. You really have to give me credit for biting my tongue in one did. "

"There were some characters who wore facades, such as King of Gorgoroth. Again, my intention was to be a silent observer, as the maker of a documentary, and my hope was that people would be able to discover the defects of character. I regret now, ha ha - it would have been interesting to see this guy is as hard after a vigorous slap. After the interview was finished, put all sorts of silly claims King, but that was out of fear that recordings could be used by him while smiling. King claimed to be a part of the Black Metal scene and to be friends with some of the old school, but when I spoke with those of the old school, they had to say no nice things about King, and he is often considered, freshman ' referred to. Smells to me like a poser. You really have me for giving credit to have bitten me here in the tongue. "

Kings claim to be a Satanist, was of David "Black Moon" Parland (ex Necrophobic, ex - Dark Funeral ) denied the supported Gorgoroth - founder Infernus in the dispute over the naming rights; he knew Gaahl and King did not, but it was obvious that there was nothing satanic about them. In an interview regarding his new band Ov Hell with the Norwegian newspaper Bergensavisen in February 2010, King expressed himself not to be a Satanist, in spite of such claims, both before and after it; Instead, take the band " seriously what in nature and the human mind is dark ," and " the music, the images, the texts - all this is part of an artistic expression. Many find it provocative and frightening, yes, but for us it is only parabolas. "The Church is Satanic as Ov Hell because Satan was important for them and not for the band.
