KLM Open

The KLM Open is an annual golf tournament played in the Netherlands and belongs since its introduction in 1972 to the European Tour. The tournament was founded in 1912 and was originally known as the Dutch Open before a variety of sponsors led to a frequent change of the tournament name. Current title sponsor is the Dutch airline KLM since 2004. The tournament is currently held in September and has returned since 2010 to Hilversumsche Golf Club, which has often served as the venue. In the past, many other venues were used for the event, last one still played in the Kennemer Golf & Country Club.
