Kristin Wieczorek

Kristin Wieczorek (now Kristin Wieczorek -Pfeiffer, born May 2, 1986 in Erfurt) is a former German figure skater who competed in single run.

Kristin Wieczorek began at the age of five years in Erfurt with figure skating. There she trained among others Ilona Schindler. Later, she started for the USG Chemnitz and was trained there for a while by Anett Pötzsch. Since the summer of 2006, she trained with Michael Huth. Their greatest success was winning the German championship in 2007. Through this victory, she qualified for the European Championships in Warsaw. There Wieczorek reached rank 19 Although only a moderate position, however, was just ahead of her teammate Christiane Berger, so that they could also go at the World Championships in Tokyo at the start. With a ranking of 29 in the short program, she managed not there, to qualify for the Kürfinale.

Kristin Wieczorek finished her figure skating career in 2009 and now works as a physiotherapist. She takes care of the football club SV steel valley as a physiotherapist. She is also part of the coaching staff of her brother, the single rotor Denis Wieczorek.
