Manuela Ruben

Manuela Ruben ( born January 14, 1964 in Lauda, Baden- Württemberg) is a former German Ice and Artistic Roller runner.

Biography

Manuela Ruben started for the Mannheimer ERC, where it was for years their rival club mate Claudia Leistner. Ruben, Carola Paul and Katarina Witt were the first individual runners who showed the triple flip in her free skating at the World Figure Skating Championships 1981. Their greatest success was winning the silver medal at the European Championships in 1984. Upon completion of her amateur career she toured with Theatre On Ice in the former revue " The Merry Widow" by Germany. Now she has two daughters.
