Le Vaudioux

Le Vaudioux is a commune in the French department of Jura in the Franche -Comté.

Geography

Le Vaudioux is located on 655 m above sea level. M., about six kilometers south of the city Champagnole (air line). The farming village extends in the Jura, in a depression at the edge of the high plateau of Champagnole, west of the valley of Syam, at the southern foot of Chaumont.

History

Since the Middle Ages belonged to Le Vaudioux Kastlanei Châtelneuf. In the 14th century La Billaude was the site of a brickyard. Together with the Franche -Comté reached the village with the Peace of Nijmegen in 1678 to France.

Attractions

Population
