Leoš Friedl
Leoš Friedl ( born January 1, 1977 in Jindřichův Hradec, then Czechoslovakia ) is a former Czech tennis player.
Career
He plays almost exclusively in the double and won in this discipline 16 ATP tournaments, all on clay court. His partner was at thirteen of these tournaments Frantisek Cermak. In addition, he was 16 more times in a final. With Cermak he also denied his only use for the Czech Davis Cup team in 2005.
His greatest successes in addition to tournament victories are the quarter-finals at the 2006 U.S. Open and the French Open and Wimbledon victory in mixed doubles at the side of Daniela Hantuchova in 2001.
End of July 2011 he finished after leaving the quarter-finals at the ATP tournament in Umag his professional career.
