Liberals (Finland)

The Liberals (Finnish: Liberaalit ) is a liberal party in Finland. Until 2001 it was called Liberal People's Party (Finnish: Liberation Alinen Kansanpuolue, LKP; Swedish: Liberala Folkpartiet ).

The Liberal People's Party was created in 1965 from the merger of the People's Party of Finland ( Suomen Kansanpuolue ) and the Federal Liberals ( Vapaamielisten Liitto ). In the Finnish parliament, the party was represented from 1966 to 1979 and from 1991 to 1995. Your election results have fallen almost continuously since its founding in 1987 and were among the one- percent mark.
