Liesbeth Mouha

Liesbeth Mouha ( born January 7, 1983 in Tongeren ) is a Belgian volleyball and beach volleyball player.
Career
After she had played a FIVB tournament last year, was formed in 2006 Mouha a solid duo with Liesbet Van Breedam. At the European Championships in 2006, the Belgians had initially in three sentences later victors Schirjajewa / Urjadowa from Russia defeated. Then they defeated the German duo Eckl / Kaup, before they were eliminated against their compatriots Pohl / Rau. The 2007 World Cup was over for them after the first round. In the following Championships in Valencia they lost in the first two games against the Greeks Arvaniti / Karadassiou and the Dutch girls van Iersel / Wesselink.
In 2008, improved Mouha / Van Breedam its balance sheet and reached some places ninth in open tournaments and Grand Slams. At the European Championships in Hamburg, they were defeated by the Germans Goller / Ludwig and the Norwegians Hakedal / Tørlen who then faced each other in the final. In August they reached the knockout stages of a third party as a group Olympic Games in Beijing, which they lost to the gold medalist Walsh / May- Treanor from USA. At the 2009 World Championships in Stavanger, they also came into the second round, which won the Brazilians Talita / Antonelli. In the same year she narrowly missed the bronze medal of the European Championships in Sochi, as they lost the match for third place with 14:16 in the tiebreak against the Swiss women Kuhn / Zumkehr.
In addition Mouha / Van Breedam 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010 four times the national Belgian championship won. Their shared career ended in 2010, as Van Breedam paused because of a pregnancy. The year was previously run already because of several violations of both players ( Mouhas abdominal muscles and Van Breedams shoulder) problematic. At the end of the year some tournaments with Goedele Van Cauteren. Since 2011 she takes with Katrien Gielen. At the World Championships in Rome, the new duo failed because of the Germans Holt Wick / Semmler. In August she played at the European Championship in Kristiansand, where they were eliminated in the quarter- final against the Czechs Klapalová / Háječková.
As indoor volleyball player Mouha was active among others in her home town of Tongeren, in Spain and Asterix Kieldrecht.
