Limosano
Limosano is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 814 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the Province of Campobasso in the Molise region. The municipality is situated approximately 13 kilometers north-northwest of Campobasso. The southeastern border is the Biferno.
History
Until the 12th century was Limosano seat of a bishop. However Witnessed are only two bishops in the years 1110 and 1153, as the Diocese of Limosano in the Archdiocese of Benevento in the 12th century went down.
Traffic
Along the Biferno the Strada Statale 647 Fondo Valle del Biferno of Boiano leads to Guglionesi.
