Termoli

Termoli [ tɛrmoli ] is a town with 33 194 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Campobasso in the Molise region.

Borders the following municipalities: Campo Marino, Guglionesi, Petacciato, Portocannone and San Giacomo degli Schiavoni.

The Old Town district of Borgo Vecchio is situated on a headland projecting into the sea. The old town is dominated by a Stauferkastell, which was later rebuilt in Aragonese style. Main attraction of the old town is the Romanesque Cathedral with its ornate figural works.

Termoli is the seat of the Catholic Diocese of Termoli - Larino

The football club currently playing in the U.S. Termoli Excellency, the fifth highest (or by counting the Serie C1 and C2 as independent leagues, the sixth highest ) Italian football league. 2005/ 06 you missed the promotion back to the D series a goal.
