List of cities in Algeria

The list of cities in Algeria provides an overview of the development of the population of the larger cities of the North African country of Algeria.

By far the largest agglomeration in Algeria is Algiers with a population of 5,515,889 (as of 1 January 2005). Thus, about 17 percent of the country's people live in the capital region.
