List of Hamburg U-Bahn stations

This list includes the stations of the Hamburg U -Bahn; listed are all currently 91 existing stations, and additionally the four stations of the former, destroyed in World War II and the branch line to Rothenburgsort 1964 abandoned former terminus Hellkamp Eimsbütteler branch line ( today's U2 ).

Total of 32 of the 105 districts of Hamburg are connected to the metro network. Most underground stations are located in the districts of Hamburg-Altstadt ( eight stations) and Eimsbuettel ( six stations). Nine stations are located outside of the Hamburg metropolitan area. These are distributed across the north and north-eastern cities and towns Ahrensburg (two stations), Ammersbek (one station), Großhansdorf ( three stations ) and Norderstedt ( three stations ). South of the Elbe there is no metro station.

The four existing lines and the former route to Rothenburgsort the total of 95 stations are distributed as follows ( interchange stations are counted twice ):

The list is organized as follows:

  • Station (symbol ) & Card: Name of the subway station, the HHA 's internal symbol as well as a location map
  • Line: line serving the station; hold multiple lines on one level, these are grouped together, otherwise separated by level.
  • Opening: initial opening of the station for public transport
  • Location: Out of the station (tunnel capable of embankment, slope, viaduct, Nick or plan)
  • District: district or place outside of Hamburg, where the station is located. The latter are listed in italics.
  • A: to transfer to the AKN, the opportunity is marked with an "A".
  • S: to transfer to the S -Bahn, the ability to switch is marked with an "S".
  • Bus: the transit traffic to the bus, the transit traffic is marked with a "B".
  • Remarks: Remarks to the subway station, etc. about any closures, fitting workshops, renaming
  • Sights & public facilities: tourist attractions and public buildings in the vicinity
  • Image: image of a station

Note: Connections to the regional rail R and F for long-distance transport are not listed in the table, since this possibility only exists at the central station.

Red -backed stations are decommissioned, bold marked subway stations have crossovers or reversing systems.
