List of mountains in Nepal

This list shows the highest mountains of Nepal and surveys are conducted on the territory of Nepal, included are all the surveys with a so-called Vertical separation of at least 150 meters. The list is complete in the range 6900-8848 meters above sea level.

Eight of the 14 eight -thousanders are, at least partially, in Nepal. 36 more main peaks reach an altitude of over 7000 meters.

Terms

As mountains all surveys that are at least 500 meters higher than the highest adjacent pass that leads to the next higher mountain apply. All other surveys are considered secondary summit. They are shown in italics in this list. The term Vertical separation is the height difference between a mountain and the highest Einschartung. Under saddle is a Grateinschnitt between two peaks to understand.
