London Borough of Brent

The London Borough of Brent is a borough of London. He is in the northwest of the city. With the establishment of the administrative region of Greater London in 1965, he emerged from the Municipal Borough of Wembley and the Municipal Borough of Willesden in the County of Middlesex.

The population continued in 2008, composed of 46.2 % White, 28.1 % Asian, 17.7% black and 1.3 % Chinese. Brent is next to Newham one of two districts where ethnic minorities are the majority.

The district got its name from the river, on the south and Brentford ( in the district of Hounslow ) and are located further north of the suburb of Brentwood. In Brent is home to the Wembley Stadium and the Neasden Temple ( BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir ), the largest Hindu temple outside India.
