Louis " Lou" Creekmur ( born January 22, 1927 in Hopelawn, New Jersey, USA, † July 5, 2009 in Tamarac, Florida) was an US- American football player. He played as an offensive tackle and guard in the National Football League ( NFL) with the Detroit Lions.

Youth

Lou Creekmur was born in Hopelawn. His father James Creekmur was the owner of a delivery company. His family later moved to Woodbridge, New Jersey, where he attended the High School and ran aground on the football team as a tackle.

Playing career

College career

In the year 1944, Creekmur the College of William and Mary followed. Already in his first year, he was honored as a player whose college football team.
