Lower Rhine Cup
The Niederrhein Cup, the Football Association Cup on the Lower Rhine. It is held annually by the Football Association of the Lower Rhine. From 2008 to 2013, the competition was officially Diebels Niederrhein Cup, previously was the Cup since 1994 ARAG Cup known.
Qualifications and game mode
The participants whose number was increased to 2010/11 season from 32 to 64, set from the union belonging to clubs in the 3rd League, Regional League West and the league Lower Rhine, which are all automatically qualified for the first round, and the qualifiers from the 14 county cups together. The number of qualifiers per circle Cup, which are competed for teams from the sechstklassigen national league, depends on the size of the circle.
The winner of the Niederrhein Cup is entitled to participate in the DFB Cup.
