Ľudmila Melicherová

Ludmila Melicherová ( born June 6, 1964 in Fiľakovo ) is a former Slovak long-distance runner.

In 1984 she won the Dębno Marathon. The following year she was starting for Czechoslovakia at the Indoor Athletics Championships in Piraeus Sixth and Seventh over 3000 m at the IAAF World Cup Marathon. The European Athletics Championships 1986 in Stuttgart, she came over 10,000 m to 17th place.

In 1988, she was fifth at the Nagoya Marathon, won the 25 km away from Berlin and finished the marathon in the Olympic Games in Seoul, the 45th. In the following season they won the Paderborn Easter Run over 25 km. In 1990 she finished ninth at the Osaka Women's Marathon and won the Spring Marathon Vienna, 1991, she was third in Nagoya and defended her title in Vienna.

In 1994 she was the overall winner at the Kosice Marathon Slovak champion. This track defended the following year as winner of the Danube Marathon. In the World Half Marathon Championships in 1997 in Košice, she came to the 51st place.

It was more twice Czechoslovak champion in the 3000 m (1984, 1985) and 10,000 m (1984, 1986) and in 1985 she took also the national title over 3,000 m in the hall. Three times she was Slovakian champion in cross country (2000, 2004, 2007 ), twice in cross country (1994, 1995) and one each about 5000 m ( 1996), 10,000 m ( 1997) and Half Marathon (1996). In 2002, she was national champion in the indoor 3,000 m.
