M20 highway (Russia)

The R23 is a highway in Russia. She was a part of the Soviet M20 trunk road network and belongs to the range of European Route 95 The R23 leads from St. Petersburg southwards over Pskov to Belarusian border. At the time of Soviet Union, they went on about Vitebsk, Gomel and Kiev to Odessa on the Black Sea.

The road was renumbered R23 in 2010. Previously, she had the number M20, which can be used until 31 December 2017 as an alternative.
