Malolos

Malolos City ( Lungsod ng Malolos tagalog ) is a Philippine component city and capital of the province of Bulacan, in the Administrative Region III, Central Luzon. According to the census of 2010 Malolos City had 234 945 inhabitants living in 51 barangays. It is classified as a community of the third income class in the Philippines and as urbanized.

Malolos City Bulacan and neighboring municipalities are Guiguinto to the east, Plaridel to the north, Calumpit to the northwest, Paombong in the west and to the south lies the Manila Bay. The topography of the city is characterized by the plains of central Luzon plain.

In Mololos City in 1899 constituted the First Philippine Republic in the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Basilica, whose first president Emilio Aguinaldo was. Almost all major Revolutionary visited at this time Mololos City. The most important educational institution is the Bulacan State University.
